The Midwest of the South Bay, El Segundo, celebrates its 100th year in conjunction with a crowd-sourced, inspired art event called ELSEGUNDISSIMO at ESMoA (El Segundo Museum of Art) this Sunday. ESMoA surveyed members of the community who live and/or work in El Segundo asking for improvements or changes they would like to see. Then, artists took the civic minded suggestions and created works of art. Patrons who visit ELSEGUNDISSIMO get to vote for their favorite piece of art, which will then be presented to local city council and LA County Board of Supervisors. more info
