Event Description

The preservation of the coastal environment and its landscape is crucial for all coastal cities. The coastal environment and landscape identity play an essential role in improving people’s sense of well-being and quality of life by directly supporting tourism, attracting residents and investments, thus playing an important economic role.

However, due to the extraction of raw materials, the processes of mass production, the fast pace of automation, and the exploitation of the resources, the environment got severely affected which in turn affects the coastal environment. In addition, the continuous rising in human population impacts the coastal zone which in return affects the environment. Besides, the utilization of resources has also resulted in an unbalance in the ecosystem’s health.
