500 Fishermans Wharf, Redondo Beach, CA, USA

Event Description

Every Friday evening in June, there is a free family movie screening at the Redondo Beach Pier. Presented by the Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach, Redondo Pier Association and King Harbor Association, the movies start at dusk and run from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. The movie screen is set up at 500 Fisherman’s Wharf, right below Kincaid’s. Bring the kids and a few blankets and settle in for this unique South Bay event!

This week’s movie is WONDER WOMAN, rated PG-13.┬áBefore she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
