The Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra bids farewell to Maestro Barry Brisk during the Final Concert of the season on Friday, May 24 at 8 p.m.
Featuring four local student soloists, as well as selections from Romeo and Juliet by Berlioz and Capriccio Espagnol by Rimsky-Korsakov, the Beach Cities Symphony will be throwing a celebratory party at 6 p.m. prior to the concert on Friday, May 24, at 8 p.m. The festivities and concert will take place at Marsee Auditorium on the El Camino College campus for one night only.
Both events are free and open to the public.
Maestro Barry Brisk has been Music Director and Conductor of the Beach Cities Symphony since 1994 and is particularly proud of having expanded the orchestra’s repertoire. He has conducted works by more than eighty composers, more than a dozen who are living, over the past 100 concerts he has conducted.
